Miriam
Miriam has been a certified School Psychologist in the public school system for almost twenty-five years. She has an extensive background in child psychology, education, and Exceptional Student Education (special education) services. Furthermore, she specializes in the assessment and identification of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Miriam has a wealth of experience and knowledge in collaborating with parents and students to maximize students’ educational potential and success. Miriam has learned first-hand that the college application process is often overwhelming, and most parents and students do not know where to start. Miriam has an enthusiastic interest in assisting students with the Florida college admissions process from beginning to end.
Ariel
Ariel is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Class of 2023, where she majored in Computer Science with distinction. Currently working as a Full-Stack Scala Developer, Ariel brings a unique blend of analytical precision and creative insight to her work as an essay guidance counselor. What sets Ariel apart is her rare ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where students feel genuinely seen and heard. Her calm and grounded presence allows students to shed performative layers and access their most authentic voice. With a keen ear for narrative and an intuitive understanding of language, she guides students toward uncovering the raw core of their ideas—helping them shape personal stories, life lessons, doubts, aspirations, and defining moments into compelling and coherent essays. Ariel approaches each student’s story as a unique fingerprint, offering thoughtful feedback that deepens clarity and emotional resonance. Her workshops are not just about writing better—they are about thinking more honestly, feeling more deeply, and expressing with courage and precision. In every session, Ariel empowers students to articulate who they are and where they’re headed, leaving them with not only a strong college essay but also a greater sense of self.
Sara
Sara has dedictaed much of her life managing properties and overseeing business ventures in New York City and Florida. She is a licensed CAM Real Estate Broker and certified Remote Notary. Sara’s passion for detail and writing, paired with her exceptional organizational skills has shaped her sucess in business management and as a mother of three. Sara utilized college counseling services for two of her teens, now attending UF and FSU, and has her youngest gearing up to apply this fall. Sara brings firsthand insight into the advantages and challenges of the application process, highlighting the areas where she believess there is room for improvement.
